The Data Zone: Udinese second-half performance salvages a draw at home against Juventus

Juventus had a 2-0 lead in the first half of the game away to Udinese in the Italien Serie A. But in the second and the third period, Udinese found their way back into the game and managed to make it all square. The game finished 2-2.

The visitors Juventus started best and were already 0-1 up already from the kickoff. After only 3 minutes Paulo Dybala scored, with an assist from Rodrigo Bentancur.

The team increased their lead to 0-2, when Juan Cuadrado scored, with an assist by Paulo Dybala, in the 23rd minute.

Straight after the break, Roberto Pereyra scored and reduced the score for Udinese.

With seven minutes left to play, Udinese’s Gerard Deulofeu equalised as he netted, with an assist by Stefano Okaka, what brought the final score to 2-2.

The last meeting between the teams ended in a 1-2 away win for Juventus in May 2021.
