The Statistics: Strong second half performance enough for Rovers against Forest

After a goalless first half, Blackburn Rovers took the lead in the second in the Championship game against the Nottingham Forest. The home side couldn’t find a way back and Wednesday’s game finished 2-1 for Blackburn.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Philip Zinckernagel made his mark as he scored to give Nottingham Forest the lead.

Straight after the break, Daniel Ayala found the net and equalised for Blackburn Rovers.

The team took the lead right after this when Darragh Lenihan found the net. Lenihan then completed Blackburn Rovers’s come back. The 1-2 goal was the last goal of the game.

Nottingham Forest’s Jordan Gabriel was sent off in the 90th minute.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday when Nottingham host Stoke City at bet365 Stadium and Blackburn welcome West Brom.
