Match Stats: A draw for Germany in their home game against Hungary

Germany drew 2-2 (0-1) in their home match against Hungary in the Euro 2021 group F.

Hungary scored the first goal when Adam Szalai scored a goal after 11 minutes, with an assist by Roland Sallai, making it 1-0.

There was a long delay before the next goal came. In the 66th minute, Kai Havertz scored a goal, with an assist by Mats Hummels, to equalise for Germany.

Hungary’s Andras Schäfer also scored in the 68th minute as he scored a goal, from a pass from Adam Szalai.

Six minutes left to play, Germany’s Leon Goretzka equalised as he scored a goal. The 2-2 goal was the last goal of the game.

It was the last game of the qualifiers and the result means that Germany finish second in the table, with Hungary in fourth place. Germany secured their spot in the playoffs.
