The Stats: Everton beat Arsenal to end winless spell

It had been long since Everton put something in the win column in the Premier League. Finally, after five consecutive games without a win they are back on a winning track after beating Arsenal 1-0 (0-0) away on Friday.

In the 76th minute, Everton took a 0-1 lead through an own-goal.

Arsenal have 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses with a 7–8 goal difference in the last 5 games, while Everton have 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss and a 5–5 goal difference.

So, Arsenal are still in ninth place and Everton are in eighth.

Next time Arsenal will play against Newcastle on Sunday at St James’ Park. Everton take on Villa at home on Saturday.
