The Statistics: four games in a row without a win for Levante

Levante failed to win away against Getafe. The game finished 1-2 (1-1) and that was Levantes seventh consecutive game without a win in the La Liga.

Getafe started the match well and took the lead early when Carles Alena scored a goal in the 13th minute, with an assist by Marc Cucurella, making it 0-1.

Levante equalised to make it 1-1 after half an hour’s play as Gonzalo Melero scored a goal, with an assist by Jorge De Frutos Sebastian. The goal was his sixth on target in the league this season.

With six minutes left to play, Getafe’s Takefusa Kubo scored the decider as he scored a goal. The 2-1 goal was the last one of the game.

Getafe’s David Timor was sent off in the 90th minute.

Getafe have 2 wins and and 3 losses with a 4–4 goal difference in the last 5 games, while Levante have 2 draws 3 losses and a 6–10 goal difference.

With one game remaining, Getafe are in 16th place in the table while Levante are in 14th.

In the next round, Getafe take on Granada away at Nuevo Los Cármenes on Sunday. Levante play at home to Cadiz on Friday.
