Svanberg strikes twice as Bologna beat Spezia

Bologna defeated the hometown Spezia 1-4 (1-2) on Sunday in Serie A action.

Bologna started the match best and took the lead early in the match when Riccardo Orsolini scored a goal already in the 12th minute.

The team increased their lead to 2-0 through Musa Barrow assisted by Jerdy Schouten in the 18th minute.

In the 34th minute Spezia found the net from a pass from Daniele Verde and reduced the score for Spezia.

Bologna’s Mattias Svanberg also scored in the 54th minute making it 1-3 assisted by Danilo.

With 30 minutes on the clock, Bologna found the net yet again from a pass from Musa Barrow and increased Bologna’s lead. This brought the final score to 4-1.

Bologna are now in 11th place, while the Spezia are in 14th place.

Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday when Bologna host Torino and Spezia welcome Inter.
