Stats Zone: Sampdoria 1-0 win over Crotone – Quagliarella the hero

Sampdoria beat Crotone 1-0 (0-0) away in the Serie A. Quagliarella scored the only goal of the game in the second half.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Fabio Quagliarella made his mark as he scored a goal, with an assist by Manolo Gabbiadini, to give Sampdoria the lead.

Crotone now have six straight defeats.

Crotone have 5 losses with a 8–13 goal difference in the last 5 games, while Sampdoria have 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss and a 6–4 goal difference.

This means Sampdoria are in ninth place and that Crotone are in 20th and last place.

In the next round, on Saturday at 5pm, Crotone will face Parma away, while Samp will play on the same day away to Sassuolo at 7:45 pm.
