Manchester United are very hard to stop at the moment and in the game against Burnley at Old Trafford on Sunday, they claimed yet another victory. The match finished 3-1 (0-0) and Manchester U now have five wins a row in Premier League.
The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time Mason Greenwood made his mark assisted by Marcus Rashford to give Manchester United the lead.
Straight after the break, James Tarkowski scored and equalised for Burnley.
With only six minutes left to play, Mason Greenwood Manchester United took the lead from a pass from Paul Pogba.
3-1 goal came in the 90th minute, when Edinson Cavani scored a goal for Manchester United from a pass from Donny van de Beek. The goal was his eighth on target in the league this season. This brought the final score to 3-1.
After a goalless first half, United took the lead in the second and the away team just couldn’t find a way back into the game.
The result means Manchester United stays in second place and Burnley is in 17th.
In the next round, on Sunday at 2pm, United will face Leeds away at Elland Road, while Burnley will play on the same day away to Wolverhampton at 12pm.
