Juventus won their away game against Sassuolo 3-1 (2-0) in the Serie A on Wednesday.
It was 0-0 until Juventus took the lead just before the half-hour mark through Adrien Rabiot, who scored a goal, with an assist by Federico Chiesa, making it 0-1.
Straight after the break, Cristiano Ronaldo found the net and increased the team’s lead.
With more than 30 minutes on the clock, Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori scored a goal, with an assist by Manuel Locatelli, and plugged one back for Sassuolo. Sassuolo were unable to score any more goals.
In the 66th minute, Paulo Dybala scored a goal, from a pass from Dejan Kulusevski, to increase the lead for Juventus, what brought the final score to 3-1.
Sassuolo have 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss with a 7–6 goal difference in the last 5 games, while Juventus have 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss and a 9–7 goal difference.
With two games remaining, Sassuolo are in eighth place in the table while Juventus are in fifth.
Sassuolo will host Parma on Sunday. Juventus will face Inter on Saturday.
