Spezia are back on the winning track in the Serie A beating Torino 4-1 (2-0). It was their first win after a six-game drought.
Spezia scored the first goal when Riccardo Saponara scored a goal in the 19th minute, with an assist by Kevin Agudelo, making it 0-1.
The team increased the lead to 2-0 just before the half-time whistle as M’bala Nzola scored a goal.
In the 55th minute, Andrea Belotti scored a goal, to reduce the score for Torino. Torino were unable to score any more goals.
M’bala Nzola increased the lead in the 74th minute, from a pass from Riccardo Marchizza.
With six minutes left to play, Spezia’s Martin Erlic increased the lead as he scored a goal, with an assist by Diego Farias. This brought the final score to 4-1.
Spezia have 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses with a 8–10 goal difference in the last 5 games, while Torino have 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses and a 3–14 goal difference.
The result means Spezia are now in 15th place in the table and that Torino are in 17th place.
Spezia will host Roma on Sunday. Torino will face Lazio on Tuesday.
